OUT OF FIRE AND ASH, WE RISE AGAIN
OUR SERVICES

Research & Policy Development
VetPhoenix advances knowledge through applied research and policy innovation guided by the Mission CJ Curriculum © developed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Research and Development. Using Continuous Quality Improvement © and Latent Class Analysis ©, we generate actionable data that drives reform, strengthens accountability, and shapes effective, evidence based responses for justice involved veterans.

Program Development
Through the Mission Ascent Model ©, VetPhoenix creates integrated, trauma informed programs focused on housing, peer support, and advocacy across courts, corrections, and community. We develop high quality in prison curricula that bring the Sequential Intercept Model © to life—bridging custody and community through structured, evidence based interventions. Each initiative is built by those with lived experience, refined through research, and evaluated for measurable, lasting outcomes that restore stability, purpose, and equity.

Education and Curriculum
Guided by Veteran Critical Theory © and the Veteran Equity Framework © developed by Manuel Gomez and Eric Sowers, VetPhoenix merges academic rigor with lived expertise to train practitioners, policymakers, and peers. Our curriculum ensures that those most affected by systemic inequities are equipped to lead solutions that honor service, restore dignity, and create pathways for transformation.

Evidence Based Programs for Lasting Impact
VetPhoenix’s programs are evidence-based and grounded in the Mission Ascent, which prioritizes collaboration across courts, corrections, and community.
By combining research, lived experience, and best practices, we deliver interventions that are both effective and sustainable.
Through housing, peer support, and advocacy, we provide comprehensive care at every point of the justice system, honoring our motto Nemo Resideo — Leave No One Behind.
SUPPORTING FAMILIES
VetPhoenix recognizes that when one serves, the whole family serves. Our family programs heal the often unseen impact of military service and justice involvement on loved ones. We provide counseling, peer support, and education that strengthen family resilience, restore communication, and rebuild trust.
Through trauma informed care, resource navigation, and family reintegration services, we help spouses, children, and caregivers regain stability and hope. By addressing the emotional, social, and economic challenges families face, VetPhoenix ensures that healing extends beyond the individual veteran and begins within the home.

Program Design and Development
VetPhoenix designs trauma-informed, scalable programs across the Veteran Sequential Intercept Model, delivering interventions at every point of the justice system.
PILOT PROGRAMS AND SYSTEM CHANGE
VetPhoenix develops and pilots innovative programs that drive systemic change, testing scalable solutions to improve care and support for veterans throughout the justice system.
